The purpose of the programme is to provide a co-ordinated programme of measures that directly contribute to our main objectives. The plan provides a structure for the implementation of measures, and to review progress and effectiveness.

Objectives

The Town Centre Partnership has identified six key areas in which development initiatives and objectives are continually agreed and implemented. To view the Partnership's achievements so far, as well as current and future projects, please choose a heading:

Development Development
Improve the business mix and regenerationin the town centre, by encouraging greater development and investment.
Environment Environment
Establish and maintain a high quality, attractive environment, for all who visit, work or live in the town centre.
Security Security
Establish a safe and secure town centre environment for all who use it, and all business and property owners.
Marketing Marketing
Market and promote the town centre to shoppers, visitors and potential investors, developing a shared positive image
Accessibility Accessibility
Improve all aspects of town centre accessibility including traffic management, signage, car parking, public transport, and access for the disabled.
Monitoring Monitoring
Monitor the performance of the town centre and identify areas for improvement.
