Purpose & Timescales
The purpose of the programme is to provide a co-ordinated programme of measures that directly contribute to our main objectives. The plan provides a structure for the implementation of measures, and to review progress and effectiveness.
The plan should also be used to:
- Assess your organisation's stakehold in the plan.
- Review the level of funding you or your organisation can contribute to core funding or specific projects.
- Support your proposal to a regional or head office within your organisation to commit funding or resources to core or individual projects.

Achievements:
Projects which have been completed
during the period of the last Business Plan
& programme (April 2006– March 2008).
Current Projects:
Projects which are planned to happen
during the period of the current Plan
(April 2008– March 2010).
Future Projects:
Projects which are planned for the future,
but are awaiting necessary funding
or resources.

Objectives
The Town Centre Partnership has identified six key areas in which development initiatives and objectives are continually agreed and implemented. To view the Partnership's achievements so far, as well as current and future projects, please choose a heading:

| Marketing Market and promote the town centre to shoppers, visitors and potential investors, developing a shared positive image |

| Accessibility Improve all aspects of town centre accessibility including traffic management, signage, car parking, public transport, and access for the disabled. |

| Monitoring Monitor the performance of the town centre and identify areas for improvement. |
